Saving Project Leopard 2019 – A Gentleman’s Agreement

Jon messaged me saying some personal stuff came up and he had to give up the Project (M30). He posted it for sale on a couple forums, Craigslist and Offerup. Then the ads disappeared. I figured someone had bought the car.

I didn’t hear anything from Jon, so I reached out to him. He said that there were tons of interest in the car, mainly from people that wanted to use it as a drift missile. Jon had turned them down because he didn’t want the car to go that direction. He wanted to see it rebuilt and go to the right person.

That is when he offered me the car. Jon said it’s the most historic M30 and deserves to be with an enthusiast. He said I would be the best person because of my love and history with the F31s. Jon said he would offer it for cheap just to know it was going to me. I thought about it and I agreed.

Jon said the car has to be taken by the end of the year, December 2019.

I honestly didn’t have a plan. I just knew I couldn’t let the car go to waste.
